- The AgroZ Tarpaulin is UV treated to ensure longer life when used under the direct sun-light.
- The AgroZ Tarpaulin is olive green in color and is available in different sizes i.e. 4m * 3m and 4m * 6m.
- It has 4 corners with plastic reinforcements and a plastic rope running on all the four sides to ensure durability.
- It is woven, laminated on both sides, and waterproof to prevent any moisture, water and foreign material from getting in contact with the grains being dried on the tarpaulin. This ensures grain quality control and prevents contamination from the ground to fetch better market prices for farmers upon sale.
- The AgroZ Tarpaulin is made from 200 gsm fabric and is fitted with islets, useful for fitting it to the ground and prevent it from being blown away by strong winds. It is also useful when spreading out or folding the tarpaulin after use.
Its main use is to prevent contamination of the grains by foreign material from the ground. Contamination by aflatoxin usually starts in the pre-harvest stage during planting, and is aggravated by faulty post-harvest handling. AgroZ Bag Plus curtails Aflatoxin contamination from further growth.
- Stretch out the AgroZ Tarpaulin on an even surface before laying the grains evenly on the top surface.
- Fasten the AgroZ Tarpaulin to the ground using the islets, and fold it properly when the drying process is complete.
- The AgroZ tarpaulin should not be dragged on the ground during use, to minimize wear and tear.
